One more Philadelphia Eagles seven-round NFL mock draft
Forsythe might be the OT prospect that the Philadelphia Eagles are looking for.
You can say whatever you want about Halapoulivaati Vaitai. There are quite a few Philadelphia Eagles fans that owe him an apology. He was abused by Ryan Kerrigan a long time ago during that game when he had to step in for Lane Johnson, and some Birds fans never got over it. Since he’s been gone, however, he’s left a void that the Eagles have had a hard time filling.
It’s hard to find a reserve offensive lineman that can play both tackle positions on the offensive line. Heck, Philly expects to start Andre Dillard at left tackle in 2021, and he can’t even play the right tackle position.
Florida’s Stone Forsythe is a guy that made life hard for some of the SEC’s best players on defense, including the aforementioned Monty Rice. Add him to an offensive line that already has a promising reserve in Jack Driscoll (if the latter can stay healthy), and the Philadelphia Eagles’ depth issues look a lot better than they did six months ago.
Forsythe is six-foot-nine. He tips the scales at 312 pounds. It sure would be a nice luxury to know that you can place him in front of some of these NFL pass rushers.
