player. 848. . . . Rondale Moore, Purdue . 2

Have you thought about Rondale Moore in a Philadelphia Eagles jersey yet?

This next statement, in no way, is meant to be seen as disrespectful to the Purdue Boilermakers or the proud alum and fans that will attack you if you say anything about their football program. It just is what it is. Had Rondale Moore played in the SEC, he still would have been just as effective, but he’d probably be getting more first-round grades than he has gotten.

Here’s the thing though. If you’re one of those people that are calling Moore a second-rounder, you know like the rest of us that the only reason that’s the case is that there are so many good players at the position. This young man’s ability has never been questioned. It’s a different story when it comes to conversations about his size.

Like Tutu Atwell, Moore is five-foot-nine (again, the same height as Boston Scott), but he’s 15 pounds heavier than Atwell and only five pounds lighter than Dyami Brown. Some say he’s a slot guy for the next level, but he’s someone that can be moved around the formation. Put an asterisk by his name if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
