The Philadelphia Eagles absolutely shouldn’t trade the future for Aaron Rodgers

Could Aaron Rodgers end up in a Philadelphia Eagles uniform? Believe it or not, CBS Sports Jason La Canfora thinks it could happen.  He mentions the wealth of draft picks the team will have next year, which includes three first-round picks (if Carson Wentz does his part at the Colts).

Yes, the Eagles definitely have the trade capital to bring in the former Super Bowl MVP and three-time Most Valuable Player in the league. After all, who wouldn’t want one of the best quarterbacks in the league on your team? Think of the advertising dollars and fanfare having a stud quarterback in town would bring.

In the short term, team sales might skyrocket, but is Rodgers the right guy to right the ship? It may look great on paper, but this is a legend who, at times, has also been a headache. That isn’t what Philly needs right now.

Let’s get into the two reasons why Rodgers would not be a good fit for Philadelphia, and why this franchise should ignore any urge to make a move for him.
