This Philadelphia Eagles-Chiefs clash will bring the action in Week 4.

The Philadelphia Eagles welcome their former head coach, Andy Reid, and his new squad, the Kansas City Chiefs, to Lincoln Financial Field in week four of the 2021 NFL season. This will be the first time that Reid has battled Philadelphia since he led his guys to the Super Bowl. Big Red is 2-0 versus the Eagles since he days in the City of Brotherly Love, having beaten the midnight green in both 2013 and 2017.

For whatever reason, the NFL has scheduled these two teams’ games for early-season dates as their last two matchups occurred in week two of 2017 and week three of 2013.

One might look at this game and write it off completely for the Eagles because of the Chiefs’ powerful offense, one that is led by Patrick Mahomes. Hey, this game could be close if the Birds can get their act together on offense. They’ll be led by Jalen Hurts. Hopefully, he’ll be putting a consistent game together.

With all of that being said, let’s look at three reasons why this matchup will be a fun one to watch.
