Smith isn’t the only Philadelphia Eagles rookie that can make noise in 2021.

At the time of this story being written and/or published, Philadelphia Eagles rookie minicamp has more than a few Birds fans buzzing. Rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith has Birds fans buzzing. That should come as no surprise.

The man that is affectionately known by some as The Slim Reaper has been as good as advertised. Sure, no one’s getting hit, and there’s no game approaching. The talent is obvious though. Some guys are different, and this is one of them.

Most, including the Inside The Iggles staff, believed he’d be the team’s best receiver when camp began, and again, the rookies were the only ones running around at the end of May’s second full week. Don’t expect him to shrink or disappear when you add the veterans to the mix. According to Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, he’s “as advertised” and “catches everything”.

Once we’re ready to piece a real depth chart together, Smith will, no doubt, be at the top of it. Philly has some other rookies that shouldn’t shock anyone if they leapfrog some of their veteran teammates in terms of ranking though. Here are three. Expect these guys to contribute heavily in year one.
