2 Reasons Philadelphia Eagles fans can count on Reagor for 5 TDs or more
1. Philadelphia Eagles fans really have no clue how good Smith and Grimes are.
There’s something to be said about being able to play with no pressure. Without being disrespectful, we can be honest.
We’ve heard the stories about Reagor being the guy the Eagles brass wanted. Some of us knew that Justin Jefferson was the better choice, even back then. Hear this one out though. DeVonta Smith will walk into training camp as the top wideout on Philly’s depth chart, but Trevon Grimes, an undrafted rookie, is making this team too unless he’s injured. He’s that good.
Smith and Grimes’ presence, along with the presence of guys like Miles Sanders, Dallas Goedert, and one of the steals of this draft, Kenneth Gainwell, means one thing. Reagor doesn’t have to be the guy now. He just needs to be another guy.
Look at it this way. With so many opposing defenses paying attention to what Grimes, Sanders, Goedert, and Smith are doing, Reagor, now the fourth or fifth option on offense at best is free to wreak havoc with no pressure as he’ll probably be seeing the other team’s third-best cover guy on a week-in and week-out basis.
