Is it too early to make guesses on this Philadelphia Eagles roster?

They aren’t quite a Super Bowl roster yet. We’re a long way from saying that, but let’s be honest. Summer is approaching, and a quick glance at the Philadelphia Eagles roster doesn’t make you as sick as it did say two months ago.

The only head coach on Planet Earth that can say he led the Birds to their first Super Bowl win is gone. That red-headed quarterback was gone shortly thereafter. We now enter a new era, the Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts era, after we were promised a ‘new norm’ in February of 2018.

That’s okay. Change in the NFL is inevitable. Heck, they change a rule like every season. In two years, they’ve added an additional playoff team to both the AFC and NFC’s tournament, and now, each of the NFL’s 32 franchises plays 17 games.

We’ve all, at some point, said that this was a rebuilding year in the City of Brotherly Love, but after a few signings and an exciting draft class, there’s a word floating around the Philadelphia Eagles fan base that most didn’t think we’d be saying. That word is expectations.

Don’t be surprised if you look up in Week 15 and the Birds have a shot at winning the NFC East. Here’s a way-too-early guess at what the team might look like that’s asked to get the job done.
