. . Miles Sanders, running back. . player. 54.

Philadelphia Eagles offense will live and die on the legs of Miles Sanders.

When the Philadelphia Eagles drafted Miles Sanders a couple of years ago in 2019, the pick sort of went under the radar. The former Penn State running back had spent most of his career playing second fiddle to Saquan Barkley and wasn’t half the prospect.

Fast forward two seasons and an argument could be made that Sanders is the superior runner. A threat to score from anywhere on the field, Mr. Sanders aka Boobie has become a real weapon for the Eagle’s offense. It’s time that the team’s brass and its coaches hand him the ball a lot more than they have been.

A complete back, Sanders is a stud out of the backfield. He’s a mismatch in the passing game and one hell of a blocking back. In two years (and in limited time) Miles has racked up over 1,600-yards and nine touchdowns. The sure-handed running back should have plenty of work to do in the Eagles’ new offense.

New head Coach Nick Sirianni loves to feature great players at the running back position, and he has a great one in Miles Sanders as well as a gifted back to spell him in Kenneth Gainwell. This year should be an exciting one for the rising star.
