54. . . . JJ Arcega-Whiteside, WR. . player

Yes, someone will gamble on the Philadelphia Eagles wideout.

What you’re thinking is obvious. Who in the (expletive) is going to trade for JJ Arcega-Whiteside right? It may sound crazy, even impossible, but this is a deal that Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles’ brass are completely capable of pulling off.

The market isn’t huge, but Philly could dump this guy off on someone. Somewhere, there’s a coaching staff that still believes they can squeeze some juice out of this guy. He’ll get a second chance somewhere just because of where he was taken.

In the meantime, here’s something the Philadelphia Eagles need to consider. Philly wouldn’t get much in return right now in a trade for this guy, maybe a depth piece or a late-round conditional draft choice, but that’s better than the alternative which would be this.

The Eagles could, very well, hold on to JJAW, watch him stink it up again, move on a year from now, and get nothing. That’s what we don’t want.

You may have never used JJ Arcega-Whiteside’s name in the same sentence as the word ‘trade’ before. Maybe you never thought he’d draw any interest, but this could work, but like the other two names on this list, if Philly wants to package him, it needs to be now. They won’t be able to move him if he stinks up the joint later.
