Who will make the Philadelphia Eagles’ final 53?

There is still a long way to go before we know who is in and who is out on the Philadelphia Eagles roster. OTAs just finished and training camp is still about one month away. There are still three preseason games yet to be played as well. Every player will still get plenty of opportunities to prove themselves.

With that said, it’s never too early to take some guesses as to who might make the 53-man roster. There are bound to be some surprise cuts as well as some preseason stars who earn roster spots. It happens every year. Roster cuts might’ve been the most intriguing last year due to the fact that there were no preseason games. This year, we will finally get to see 80-90 players in action in August.

Speaking of training camp roster size, there will be week-by-week cuts this season. The maximum roster size heading into training camp is 90 players. The Birds will start training camp on July 27th this year. By August 17th, teams must cut their rosters down to 85 players. By August 24th, they must cut them down to 80 players. Finally, by August 31st, they have to set their final 53.

It’s a new era of Philadelphia Eagles football. The 2021 Birds will be led by head coach Nick Sirianni and quarterback Jalen Hurts. Building the right roster around both of them will be crucial. Let’s take a look at who makes the final cut and who has some work to do before training camp.
