Might Philadelphia Eagles fans see some surprises on the 53-man roster?

Well, we’ve made it. Half of the 2021 calendar year is over, and now that we’ve made it to July, training camp for the Philadelphia Eagles will be upon us in no time. You know what that means, especially as a Birds fan.

Expect to see some roster projections. Expect to see a faster process (there are three preseason games now that the NFL season consists of 17 games for each team), and of course, you can expect to see someone rise from seemingly nowhere to make some noise as a prospect that wins the fans over and starts hearing a few more cheers.

In this case, we have three candidates. It wouldn’t be a true Philadelphia Eagles training camp and preseason if we weren’t racking our brains in an attempt to try to work one more guy onto the team, and even though none of the guys on this three-man list are guaranteed to earn their place, they are the owners of names that we’re likely to mention a time or two.

This is one of the best times of the year. It’s time to give some serious thought to who will be on this team and who will be left off of it. Drumroll please. Here are three dark horse candidates. You can argue among yourselves about whether or not they should be removed and three other names should be added, but know this if you don’t know anything else. Somewhere, T.J. Edwards, Corey Clement, and Paul Turner are smiling. Alright folks! Let’s get busy.
