None of these questions are foreign to Philadelphia Eagles fans.

1. Can this team get more out of the 2020 draft class this season?

When your team has a need at wide receiver, they draft one, and 12 months later, they feel that they absolutely have to draft another in the first round of the next NFL Draft, there are issues. Here’s some good news though because the Good Lord in Heaven knows that we need it.

Jalen Reagor will be fine that the pressure isn’t lying squarely on his shoulders, but in terms of guys like Quez Watkins, John Hightower, Shaun Bradley, Davion Taylor, and K’Von Wallace, there’s no getting around anything. Those guys absolutely have to be better in their sophomore seasons than they were as rookies.

2. Is Kenneth Gainwell a suitable complement for Miles Sanders?

We know Miles Sanders can be a true three-down back and a home-run threat, but if we’re being honest, we’ve had a tendency to give him a pass when we know that there are things that he must improve on. Now, we also can’t mention that without stating the following.

Miles Sanders needs some help in the backfield (Boston Scott doesn’t count), and the Philadelphia Eagles may have given him some help in the form of third-day draftee Kenneth Gainwell. He could be the steal of the draft. If he is, and if Philly can find two more suitable depth pieces in what’s become a crowded running backs room, this could be a huge, injury-free run for Miles Sanders. That will definitely boost this offense.
