Three young Philadelphia Eagles could play and play often in 2021.

It may not have happened the way that we expected, but the Philadelphia Eagles finally got younger. Now, that may not apply to their starters along the offensive line (or four of them), but the Birds have managed to infuse some youth into a roster that really got very old very quickly.

Look no further than their decision to hitch their wagon to Jalen Hurts if you need any evidence of that one. He has a one-year audition to prove that he can lead this team into its future.

Philly enters the 2021 season knowing that they probably won’t hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy, but they’re also confident that they can make more noise than is expected of them. Their 2020 draft class didn’t set the world on fire, but they and the nine rookies the Eagles added during the 2021 selection meeting will need to pay dividends if this team takes flight.

Fans have said that this is a throwaway season, a bridge to another NFL Draft in 2022. Everyone from this franchise’s brass to its players believes otherwise. Here are three young guns that this team will rely on early and often this season, outside of Hurts of course.
