Philadelphia Eagles sign Steven Nelson: Two huge, immediate questions

The Philadelphia Eagles add Steven Nelson and everyone is talking about it.

We’ve seen the outpouring from Philadelphia Eagles fans about their desire to add him. Then, we saw everyone’s response that subscribed to the other way of thinking. Their argument was maybe this guy isn’t as good as he thinks he is. Time went on. Nothing happened, so we all assumed that Philly had no interest… Or, they could add him late.

After all, you do remember that, back in 2017, it was August 11th when they traded for Ronald Darby, right? Nothing screams ‘Philadelphia Eagles’ like the Birds making a move of this magnitude in the 11th hour.

Not even a week after the 4th of July, Darius Slay joined the conversation and made his recruitment pitch known. The debate began all over again.

Well, here we are at the end of the final weekend before training camp gets underway, and it’s official. The Philadelphia Eagles have added Steven Nelson. He and Darius Slay will, no doubt man the outside cornerback positions.
