What if the Philadelphia Eagles added talent from the Cowboys waiver wire?

Don’t you say one word! In all honesty, once the wheels started turning for this one, it became increasingly difficult to say the names Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys in the same sentence without getting physically ill.

It’s like being a Birds fan and adding Ezekiel Elliott or Dak Prescott to your Fantasy football team or having the memory cross your mind of Randall Cunningham suiting up at quarterback for Dallas during that Monday Night Football game back in Week 3 of the 2020 season.

Some things should never happen. Some things just don’t go together. Blame this one on long training camp hours and the imagination running wild, but when you want your favorite football team to be more competitive than a 4-11-1 effort you witnessed a year earlier, you’ll literally look anywhere for better talent.

Let’s just say, hypothetically, that the Philadelphia Eagles looked the hated Cowboys waiver wire for some possible reinforcements after roster cuts. What might that look like? Sure, it’s August, and no one really knows for real, but here are three prospects that might be interesting if the Birds’ leadership structure would be willing to give them a look.
