So, might the Philadelphia Eagles explore QB trade options in 2022?

So, what if the Philadelphia Eagles do indeed give up on Jalen Hurts at the end of this season?  What then? We’re talking about one of the most important positions in all the professional sports (pitchers are pretty important too), and with the recent injury to Carson Wentz, Philly’s chance of turning that second-round conditional pick they got for dealing him into a first-rounder seem like they’re in jeopardy, at least for the moment anyway.

This Hurts thing has to work out, but what if it doesn’t? People are nervous, and as the most recent NFL Draft approached, we all watched the drama unfold about whether or not Philly would explore the idea of taking a signal-caller with their first-round selection in 2021.

They didn’t as you know, but if the Philadelphia Eagles falter during the 2021-2022 season and if quarterback play is seen as being the reason for it, those theories will be expressed even more loudly next year. There’s just one problem.

Next year’s draft class doesn’t possess the same level of talent as the most recent one did. Sure, Matt Corrall is an option, but don’t rule out the possibility of Philly ruling out a trade. If they do, here are three options that could tickle the Eagles’ fancy in 2022.
