Could trading for a veteran WR help the Philadelphia Eagles win the East?

The need to add a talented veteran receiver to this roster has slowly gone from a quiet rumble to being something that must be screamed from the rooftops. It’s almost a tradition for the Philadelphia Eagles front office to flirt with talent but never pull the trigger. Remember the DeAndre Hopkins ordeal?.

Despite adding a potential superstar in rookie wideout DeVonta Smith, Philly’s offense lacks a real veteran presence, let alone a veteran that can assist in helping him develop into the prospect that everyone expects him to be.

Coming into the 2021 season, the Philadelphia Eagles faithful didn’t have much to cheer about, but as we all head into the second week of preseason games, things seem to be picking up around the City of Brotherly Love.

The addition of a Heisman Trophy winner, the promotion of a certain quarterback, and the hiring of a new coaching staff (not to mention a solid roster), has invigorated the fans, but even with the great additions of youth to the roster, the Eagles need to find a veteran wideout to add.

Luckily, this team has a slew of high draft picks, some they can use as collateral, so with that in mind, here are three veteran WR’s the Eagles should consider trading for.
