Philadelphia Eagles should consider a change of scenery for Andre Dillard.

When the Philadelphia Eagles front office selected offensive tackle, Andre Dillard, in the 2019 NFL Draft, hopes were high amongst fans and the media alike. Anytime a team uses a first-round pick on a player, expectations immediately skyrocket.

This time it was for a good reason. The former Washington State prospect entered the National Football League with the size and tools to be a star. He definitely looked like the future of the Eagles at the left tackle position.

Even with all the hope that this team had and with all of his potential, Dillard for whatever reason, just can’t seem to turn the corner or get out of his own way. Be it injuries or his lackluster work ethic, both in live games and in practice, this gentle giant seems to be more gentle than the Philadelphia Eagles would like him to be.

He’s clearly off to a slow start to his career, but it’s still very early in his career. He can turn things around. The bad news for Dillard is the Eagles seemed to have found their starting left tackle in rising star Jordan Mailata. Couple that with the fact that Dillard isn’t developing rapidly enough, and that leads us to believe that he’d be best suited for a change of scenery. Here are three destinations and trade ideas that would make sense if they were explored.
