The Philadelphia Eagles will still have concerns in the 2021 season.

Most Philadelphia Eagles fans would agree that the Birds had a moderately successful offseason. With the Eagles drafting the likes of Devonta Smith and Milton Williams to the addition of free agents like Eric Wilson and Anthony Harris, general manager Howie Roseman answered many issues this team had.

So why is everyone still preparing themselves for a rough season ahead? With many questions on this team’s roster answered, why is there doubt growing in this fanbase? Even with some of the open-ended holes in this roster, this team still should be competitive, right?

The real answer to this question, unfortunately, is unknown. With a new coaching staff and a new scheme for all aspects of the game, it is easy to have doubts about the Eagles being any form of a contender this season. However, the new staff and new schemes should not be the main cause of concern for this season.

As referenced above, first-year head coach Nick Sirianni absolutely has his work cut out for him this season. Integrating a new scheme and mentality is not easy, but from all reports, he has been successful thus far, gaining buy-in from all players. So if it is not the staff or the scheme, what should concern the Philly fan base? Let’s jump into three major concerns for the Philadelphia Eagles before the start of the 2021 season.
