For some of you, this won’t taste well. Think of it like it’s some sour-tasting medicine that’s difficult to swallow, but you allow yourself to believe that it will make you feel better, both because it probably will and because your mom told you that it would. Some of the Philadelphia Eagles fan base and more than a few members of the media are fighting back the urge to smirk or say ‘I told you so’.

Guess what? The word out of Indianapolis is Carson Wentz is already earning the reputation of being a bad teammate.

Take a look, and again, if you’re one of those Birds fans who has had to suffer through the endless tirades and uninformed opinions of the Carson Wentz apologists, don’t worry. The truth always comes to the surface eventually. It looks like the Colts are getting a taste of the diva portion of Mr. Wentz’s personality.

And, you thought the Wentz Wagon was finally rid of bad press because its captain left the City of Brotherly Love for Indianapolis, Indiana!

Philadelphia Eagles fans are grabbing their wallets for some satisfaction.

The worst part about all of this is we can’t share any quotes here as Gregg Doyel’s masterpiece is only available for the Indianapolis Star’s premium subscribers. If you feel like rustling up some change, that’s fine. At the risk of giving away spoilers, however, we’ll just say this.

Some of this you’ve read before. Some of Doyel’s take is new and enlightening. Don’t expect the Carson Wentz apologists to listen though. Regardless of how much information and evidence is provided and no matter how many times people are told something, they only tend to only want to believe what they think is true.

Maybe they’ll listen now. Maybe they won’t, but don’t stress either way. We live in an information age, but unfortunately, people tend to only want affirmation.

People are looking for something to validate something they already believe and what they want to be true. It’s almost as if some of the Philadelphia Eagles took on the traits of Dallas Cowboys fans. That’s another story for another day though.
