Hopefully, the Philadelphia Eagles scouted this 49ers team pretty well.

There’s an old saying that goes something like this. You can’t have two quarterbacks in the NFL, and if you think you have two quarterbacks, you probably don’t have one. That’s a fact that hasn’t been lost on anyone who’s been following what’s been going on with the Philadelphia Eagles since 2017.

The good news is this. The Birds have found their starting signal-caller, for another week at least. Heading into Week 2, after years of talk about whether they should, first, start Nick Foles over Carson Wentz and, second, roll with Jalen Hurts over Wentz, Carson has traded his midnight green jersey for a blue one.

He’s in Indy. Jalen Hurts has a year-long audition to prove that he should be this team’s starting signal-caller. So far, so good on that front, and as we move towards his second test aka ‘Round 2’ as Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni would say, the Birds get to watch teams like the Chicago Bears and this week’s opponent, the San Francisco 49ers, deal with their own quarterback drama.

Jimmy Garoppolo doesn’t always get the credit he deserves, but for now, he’s the starter. He, most certainly, can give the Birds fits. Here are nine other 49ers that also fall in that category.
