Which Philadelphia Eagles need to reset after a rough start?

All is well in the city of Philadelphia as football season is back. Our beloved Philadelphia Eagles are 1-0. The energy among the fanbase is contagious. You can feel it in the city right now.

The Birds’ dominant 32-6 victory over the Atlanta Falcons couldn’t have gone any better. The expectation was that this would be another last-second victory for one of these teams but that’s not what Nick Sirianni and company had in mind.

A much bigger test lies ahead in Week 2. The San Francisco 49ers will come to town seeking revenge after late touchdowns from unlikely heroes Travis Fulgham and Alex Singleton gave the Eagles a Sunday night ‘W’ one season ago. Fast forward to the present, and the 49ers aren’t completely ravaged with injuries.

Yes, they are some including Raheem Mostert and Jason Verrett but not to the extent of the 2020 season. Fulgham isn’t even on the active roster anymore. Singleton has become a bona fide starter. A lot has changed since these two teams last played less than a year ago.

Week 1 was filled with plenty of positives for Philadelphia but there are still some mistakes that need to be cleaned up. There are also a few names who need to improve in Week 2 with a difficult task ahead. No one was perfect and there are more than three players who need to step up.

We wanted to focus on two players who really struggled and stood out for the wrong reasons along with one player we aren’t very concerned about after one game. Let’s not waste any more time.
