Here is the blueprint for a Philadelphia Eagles victory in Week 2.

One down, 16 to go. It’s still odd to say that. As Miles Sanders put it, “more games, more yards”. Fans can’t pass up an extra week of football. For now, the focus is on Week 2 and the Philadelphia Eagles will head into battle against the San Francisco 49ers.

The atmosphere at Lincoln Financial Field is sure to be electric as it’s the first time this stadium will be at full capacity since the 2019 season. Fans got a taste of it with the 76ers playoff run and the Phillies-Mets series in August both at full capacity. At the end of the day, this is a football town. Fans pack the stadiums for all four teams but the energy in the city on an Eagles gameday is just different.

Head coach Nick Sirianni picked up his first career win last week in Atlanta. Throughout this week, he has reiterated his excitement and anticipation for the crowd. Once the Rocky music gets going before kickoff, that place is going to be rocking. 49ers fans are in Philadelphia trying to play the same game that Vikings fans did a few years ago. It’s cute, but we all know how that turned out for Minnesota.

In all seriousness, this is sure to be an entertaining matchup. It’ll be the first real test for this young team as the Niners are expected to be a contender once again this year with a healthy squad.

They’ve already had to deal with several injury issues but they still have a good number of their star players available. The Eagles will be home dogs in this one, something they’ve grown accustomed to over the years. With that being said, here are the three keys to an early Eagles upset.
