Eagles Game Monday: Eagles vs Cowboys odds and prediction for NFL Week 3 game
Perhaps QB1 said it best. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts said, in his post-game press conference, that, much like the Birds moved on in 24 hours from a win following their Week 1 blowout victory over the Atlanta Falcons, they intend to do the same following a loss versus the San Francisco 49ers.
Philly, for all intents and purposes, should have won this game. They were beating the Niners up. Then, there was a touchdown that was called back (Come on Jalen Reagor. You have to stay in bounds!) and a very weird-looking play on fourth and goal that shifted the momentum in the Niners’ favor for the better part of almost three quarters.
Philly was unable to right the ship until they absolutely had to late in the fourth quarter. By then they had run out of time. Oh well! We move on.
Next up is Dallas Cowboys Week. One of the Eagles’ most-hated rivals. That alone should get you pumped. Here are some of the specifics.
Eagles vs Cowboys Odds Week 3
The Week 2 betting odds on WynnBET, have the Eagles as four-point underdogs on the road in Arlington. They have +170 moneyline odds, while the Cowboys are the favorite at -200. The total for the game is set at an over/under of 51.5 points.
Eagles vs Cowboys Prediction Week 3
Both teams come into this one with records of 1-1, so guess what? They and the Washington Football Team all sit atop the NFC East. The New York Giants are in the cellar at 0-2. In other words, this is an early-season battle for first place.
Unless this one is a blowout in Dallas’ favor, it seems pointless to take the over. Prior to Week 1’s win, Philly hadn’t scored more than 30 points since the regular-season finale versus New York in 2019.
Can Philly score versus the Cowboys? Can they buck the trend and beat Dallas in AT&T stadium? Right now, it’s difficult to imagine that they’ll be able to keep pace in s scoring contest. We’ll soon find out, but they’ve lost their last three games at AT&T Stadium.
