Here’s the formula for a Philadelphia Eagles win on Monday Night Football.

Everyone knows the stakes. Bragging rights are on the line. An early lead in the NFC East is up for grabs. The newest edition of arguably the best rivalry in the National Football League will take place this Monday night. The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t won in Jerry World since 2017, but these teams have split the matchups the past two seasons. Dallas is the clear favorite in this one but Philly wouldn’t want it any other way.

The Birds have had their fair share of big moments in recent history in this rivalry. From the 44-6 playoff-clinching win to Jordan Matthew’s game-winner to the practice squad guys getting the job done, Eagles fans have had some memorable victory Mondays.

There have been plenty of heartbreakers mixed in there too that we won’t mention for your sanity. Since 2000, it’s been back and forth with the Eagles leading the series 23-20 in that span.

Dak Prescott will be facing the Eagles for the first time since the Week 16 Eagles win in 2019. It’ll also be the first time he duels with Jalen Hurts in this NFC East matchup. These two former SEC quarterbacks will lead their teams into battle in what feels like a new era of Eagles-Cowboys football.

Head coach Nick Sirianni has some work to do after he got a little too fancy with the play calling. The Birds need him to deliver this week, to say the very least. On that note, let’s get right into how the Eagles can jump into first place this Monday:
