Philadelphia Eagles have finally forced a turnover on defense

The Philadelphia Eagles defense has come through again. This time to the tune of six points. Seriously, are you not entertained?

Things couldn’t have started any worse for the Eagles. Philly’s first turnover of the night couldn’t have come at a better time or in a more dramatic fashion.

It began as an atmosphere that was perfect for a divisional rivalry. The Birds were into it. Philadelphia’s fans that were in attendance made sure that they were heard. Then, Philly won the coin toss, deferred, and let Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys’ offense march right down the field.

You can thank a 44-yard reception by CeeDee Lamb, a personal foul penalty by Javon Hargrave, and a touchdown plunge by Ezekiel Elliott for that. Fear not though. It looks like the Eagles have no intention of lying down.

As strange as it is to see a personal foul penalty and that isn’t called on Derek Barnett (yes, we took it there), Hargrave made up for his snafu by doing what any professional football player should do, by making a play.

The Cowboys and Eagles have both come to play. Philly’s first forced turnover of the season comes after Jalen Hurts commits a turnover, his first of the season. That one looked like an underthrow to Jalen Reagor. Seriously, is something wrong with QB1’s deep ball?

The Birds and Boys are locked in an entertaining battle in Arlington. A Dak Prescott sneak was ruled short and then upheld after an official review. It’s as typical a night as you can expect whenever these two age-old rivals lock horns with one another.

Let’s hope this one ends with Philadelphia’s fans getting the result that they want.
