The Philadelphia Eagles head back to Philly with a win

Alright, Iggles fans, the Philadelphia Eagles were finally able to end the losing streak after beating the Carolina Panthers 21-18. This game had many ups and downs and even a few moments where it felt like the game was over.

Well, if there is anything that football fans should never forget, the game is not over until the clock reads triple zeroes. This game was the evidence. Here’s a quick recap.

After the Panthers went up by a 10-3 margin on the Eagles, this one became a defensive slugfest featuring a lot of three and outs. After having a lot of offensive success just a week prior, the Birds couldn’t get anything going. Philly had another touchdown negated by a penalty, and bad play-calling and execution continued on offense. As a result, the Eagles were on the wrong side of a 15-6 score at halftime.

After a few adjustments on offense and defense, Philly began to make plays. The Birds were able to fight their way back and take the lead for the first time all game with just minutes left. A Sam Darnold underthrow and interception by Steven Nelson sealed things. Now that you are all caught up, let’s get into those winners and losers.
