Philadelphia Eagles potential draft targets: Will Mallory, Miami

Much to the chagrin of anyone who’s an alum or a fan of ‘The U’, the Miami Hurricanes aren’t quite ready to retake their place among college football’s elite programs, but they may be close. They’ve started to do something we’re used to seeing from the program that introduced ‘swagger’ to college football (even though the program and the game have both changed a lot since then.

Miami is back to feeding the highest level of football some of its better prospects, and that won’t change come 2022’s selection meeting, thanks, in part, to guys like tight end Will Mallory.

He’s six-foot-five, 245 pounds, and even though he’s been banged up, he might be someone that teams take a flier on in Round 2.

Philadelphia Eagles potential draft targets: Jeremy Ruckert, Ohio State

The Ohio State Buckeyes feature their quarterbacks, tight ends, and running backs a whole heck of a lot more than they rely on their tight ends, but Jeremy Ruckert, when utilized, has proven that he can produce at a high level.

NFL scouts will love his frame. He’s six-foot five. He’s 250 pounds, and if the Philadelphia Eagles wait until the second day of the draft to address the tight end position (if that’s their plan), Ruckert might be one of the more attractive options.
