Dallas Goedert must be the featured target in the Eagles offense.

The other area in which the Raiders can be seen as being vulnerable is how they’ve been able to defend the opposing team’s tight ends. They’ve allowed the second-most receptions, fifth-most yards, and sixth-most touchdowns to tight ends this season.

With Zach Ertz out of the mix, Dallas Goedert will have an opportunity to feast if Nick Sirianni makes him a focal point of the offense. Goedert is an effective blocker so those Y-delays where he leaks out into coverage could be perfect.

Cover 3 beaters like the sail concept could also work. Even when the Raiders go Cover 1, Goedert can win on the sail route in one-on-one situations.

DeVonta Smith, Kenny Gainwell, and others should also be focal points versus Cover 1. Sanjit T. also noted that the crossers will be open behind the Raiders linebackers, but most quarterbacks haven’t been able to hit the throw against them.

Trending. Bold predictions for the Eagles in Week 7. light

Jalen Hurts’ accuracy issues have been a concern this year. That will have to improve this week if the Eagles are going to have a shot at winning. A lot of it will come down to Sirianni’s commitment or lack thereof to the run.

The offensive line has to do a better job of limiting pressure. If that happens and if Hurts shows the ability to make throws into those Cover 3 windows to Dallas Goedert (and to others), the Eagles should be in prime position to walk out of Las Vegas with a much-needed win.
