Philadelphia Eagles studs and duds following Week 7 loss to Raiders
The Philadelphia Eagles drop to 2 and 5 on the season following a Week 7 loss.
It may be time to finally admit that the Philadelphia Eagles aren’t a good team. Understandably we all knew this wasn’t a Super Bowl contending team, but these last few losses have been just terrible.
This Week 7 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders was no different. The Birds headed out to Sin City to face a beatable team, and they put up an absolute stinker. All of the joy seems to be gone, and all of the life seems to have been sucked out of this team following yet another collapse.
We are only going to do a small recap (to help keep your blood pressure down). After a solid first drive to start this game, one in which the Eagles marched down the field and put up six points, the bad calls began by the head coach (we will get to that in a second). The Raiders completely dominated this team for the majority of the first three quarters.
The Birds were finally put to bed by Las Vegas with a final score of 33 to 22. Let’s be honest. If you missed this one, don’t let the score fool you. This game was over by halftime.
Now that we’ve torn the band-aid off, let’s hand out some game balls and identify the biggest losers following this Week 7 disaster of a game. It’s time for studs and duds.
