Yes, the Eagles and Giants finish in the bottom fourth of the rankings.

The ‘NFC Least’ lives on. Seven games into the 2021-2022 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys look like a team that might run away with the division while the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Washington Football Team all have five losses after playing in seven games.

There’s still a long way to go this season, but the eyeball test tells us that, if the Birds and Big Blue were to play a game right now, Philly might be the favorite. Recently, with the exception of their most recent meeting, the Eagles have had the Giants’ number. Prior to last November, Philly had taken eight straight games and 12 of the last 13.

The Eagles remain one of the worst teams in the NFL as we approach the midpoint of the regular season. They’re clearly not ready to compete.

They have a long way to go before they’re a playoff team. This coaching staff is clearly among the game’s worst, but even though it’s been established that they’re looking up at teams like the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs, we’re assuming, by comparison, that they’re good enough to beat the Jaguars and Jets, right? Come on. Things are bad, but they haven’t gotten that bad right?
