46. . 3-4. . Indianapolis Colts. 17. team

Eagles fans have respectfully watched this rivalry from a distance.

It truly wasn’t planned for the Indianapolis Colts to wind up side by side with the New England Patriots. It just kind of ended up that way.

These two proud franchises are companion pieces in NFL lore. It’s difficult to talk about their histories without bringing up the other team, but we’re a long way from the days of Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

It’s the Carson Wentz and Mac Jones show now. It will probably be a while before they’re consistently in the AFC Championship Game versus one another, but hey, their fan bases can dream, right? The Colts can turn things around if they can figure a way around the Tennessee Titans.

The Patriots looked really good in Week 7. They put up 54 points and stole one on the road. Unfortunately, all of their games aren’t going to go that way. The Jets have a tendency to make other teams look good.

Some are going to complain that New England’s spot right outside of the top 15 is due to reputation as opposed to where this team is right now, but a team that still has Bill Belichick pacing the sidelines has earned that, even though it should be obvious by now that he needed Tom Brady more than TB12 needed him.
