Eagles versus Lions: Top prop bets to make for NFL Week 8 game

The Philadelphia Eagles visit the Detroit Lions in Week 8 of the NFL season. Here are two player prop bets you should consider taking advantage of.

How are you feeling? Are you hanging in there? Are you riding the wave of the Philadelphia Eagles having so many winnable games on the rest of their schedule, or are you scared to death because you looked up and realized that the possibility of your favorite team losing to the winless Detroit Lions is both believable and realistic?

Some teams just pose a problem for others regardless of what the overall win-loss records are. Peyton Manning had his issues with the New England Patriots early, but people forget that the San Diego Chargers drove him crazy too.

It’s hard to think of too many teams that the Eagles can beat at this particular juncture, but even when they’re good, they can’t seem to get around the Seattle Seahawks. They’ve lost seven in a row and nine out of the last ten to them, and even though their series versus the Lions hasn’t been as one-sided (the series is actually tied at six games apiece with two ties), Philadelphia has come out on the losing side to Detroit in the last three meetings. They’ve also lost four of the last five.

That includes the Thanksgiving Day Massacre in 2015, the last time these two teams played on a holiday. Ladies and gentlemen, as sad as it is to report this, the Lions can absolutely beat the Eagles in Week 8, but even if that happens, here are two prop bets that can personally put you in the winning column.
