The Philadelphia Eagles should be able to make upgrades come draft time.

There is still plenty of time left for the Philadelphia Eagles to get things right this season. 2021 is off to an ugly start, but the Week 8 matchup versus the Detroit Lions will be one of the significant matchups for several reasons.

For the Lions, they’re coming off of an impressive showing in a near upset over the Los Angeles Rams. ‘Jared Goff revenge game’ would’ve been quite the headline if it came true.

For the Birds, they’re looking for any source of life after a blowout loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The scoreboard doesn’t tell the story of the first three quarters.

At the same time, if the season ended today, the Birds would own three top-15 picks in the NFL Draft. We’re not even halfway through the season. That means that could change, but we still can’t help but speculate as to what the Eagles might do with those three picks.

Just to preface, we would love for the Birds to invest at linebacker but we know that is unlikely based upon their draft record. Here are a few ideas though.
