Here are two bold predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles on offense.

Jalen Hurts THROWS two touchdown passes, both in the red zone.

On Friday, we all were made privy to some intriguing news on the injury front. Call this one of those good news/bad news scenarios, bad news for the Chargers and good news for the Birds.

Both of L.A.’s starting cornerbacks, Michael Davis and Asante Samuel Jr., are out for Week 9’s game, and even for a second-year signal-caller that’s making his 13th start on the NFL, that has to make the mouth water some.

The number 13 appears to be a lucky one for Jalen Hurts. We’re expecting some big things in this one. We’re calling for 50 or more yards rushing. We’re calling for 200 yards passing, but even better than that is the next statement.

We’re looking for two touchdown passes by QB1 in the red zone because we expect him to, once again, get some help by playcalling and the ground game.

The Eagles put up another 200 yards rushing and win on a last-second field goal.

Philly’s running game was a thing of beauty in Week 8. Now, they wouldn’t put on that type of performance and then abandon the run altogether in Week 9, would they?

Truthfully, you can’t put it past them, but we think that they won’t. We’re calling for another 200-yard performance by the Eagles versus the NFL’s worst running defense and a late field goal that gives the Eagles a close win in Week 9. Final score: Eagles 26, Chargers 24.
