Can the Eagles steady the ship finally in the 2022 NFL Draft?

It’s sort of become an annual tradition. No matter how many times we watch this team participate in one free-agency signing period after another or bring in another class of rookies following another NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles never seem to satisfy certain needs.

The Eagles have a chance to right the ship some in 2022 however as they’re expected to have three first-round draft choices in the coming selection meeting. Now, what scares you is the fact that it may be Howie Roseman that makes those picks, but even he can’t screw the first one up.

Philly owns the rights to the Miami Dolphins’ first choice in 2022, and if the season were to end today, that draft choice would be the third overall. Keep your fingers crossed and hope that the guys in South Beach keep losing.

If they do so, the chances are high that the Eagles would have an opportunity to land one of the best defensive players in the NFL Draft at his position. We’ve all agreed that there are no quarterbacks that are worthy of a top-15 selection right?

Kyle Hamilton of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish is as good a choice as any. He’s six-foot-four. He tips the scales at 219 pounds. Currently, at the time of this story being written and published, he’s injured, but that shouldn’t be an issue come April. If he’s available at the third spot, the Eagles will be in a very nice situation. Here are two reasons why he makes boatloads of sense for Philadelphia.
