Is Miles Sanders’ position with this Eagles team now in jeopardy?

Here’s a serious question to mull over as you’re thinking about the Philadelphia Eagles‘ offense and their chances versus the New Orleans Saints in Week 11. What do you think Miles Sanders is thinking right now?

The Eagles pretty much made the decision that they refused to run the ball with him in the lineup. Then, they changed their minds, attempted to give him more touches, and he got hurt. In his absence, Philadelphia has evolved into the NFL’s best running team since Week 8, and it appears that the Eagles’ coaches rediscovered what some Eagles fans have known all along.

Boston Scott, regardless of the road he took to make the Eagles’ active roster, is the real deal and deserves playing time. Jordan Howard is a former Pro Bowler, and now that he’s totally healthy, he seems to have returned to form.

Philly’s decision to bury Scott on the depth chart and Howard on the practice squad (or, better yet, Howie Roseman’s decision) was an obvious mistake, but regardless of what you might be hearing, giving a similar treatment to Sanders would be just as egregious of an error.

Let’s rewind the tape some. Here are three reasons why the Miles Sanders criticism has gotten totally out of control (and why most of it should be ignored).
