Jalen Hurts and the Eagles have a lot to talk about after Week 12.

Welp, that didn’t go according to plan. Heading into Week 12, the Philadelphia Eagles had to be feeling pretty good about things. They were above .500. They were approaching what was being described as the more manageable portions of their 2021-2022 schedule. The argument could be made that Jalen Hurts was playing some of the best football that we had all seen him play since he had taken over as the full-time starter. People were actually using the word ‘playoffs’ and the Eagles’ name in the same sentence.

Welcome to the week-to-week reality check that we more commonly refer to as the National Football League.

The Eagles leave East Rutherford, New Jersey as the losers of a game that they fully expected to win (and probably should have won. Expect this one to be discussed in great detail as Jalen Hurts continues to learn.

How did he do? Well, we’re glad that you asked. Here’s his Week 12 report card following an ugly game that, believe it or not, the Eagles had a chance to win at its conclusion.
