If you want to blame someone for the Eagles’ loss versus New York, don’t blame Reagor.

Before we go any further, let’s establish something right off of the bat because it would be unfortunate if you took something from this that wasn’t communicated. Howie Roseman’s decision to take Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson in 2021’s NFL Draft as the Philadelphia Eagles‘ 21st-overall selection might have been his worst. That alone is saying a lot.

Something has to change, and it has to change now. We’re officially out of patience. No one wants to wait on Jalen Reagor to improve because he isn’t going to. He can’t play!

Reagor was supposed to fix what we had to endure from the Eagles wide receivers over the 2020 season. He was supposed to replace Nelson Agholor. He was supposed to give us the versatility that Alshon Jeffery couldn’t. It was supposed to be Reagor that gave the Eagles the deep threat that DeSean Jackson couldn’t be anymore. He’s been none of those things.

If you polled Eagles fans right now, They’d take Nelson Agholor, DeSean Jackson, and Alshon Jeffery back RIGHT NOW if it came down to a decision between any one of those guys and keeping Philadelphia’s most recent first-round draft bust.

So yes, if you believe that he’s only playing because he’s a first-round draft choice, you’re right. If your disdain for watching him play has reached Jason Babin levels, your feelings are shared, but if you believe that the Eagles lost Week 12’s game because of Jalen Reagor, we respectfully disagree (in theory). Here are three reasons why that’s the case.
