Don’t expect the Philadelphia Eagles to overlook the Jets in Week 13.

Okay, perhaps it takes some of us longer to recover than others, but most of us should have put the Philadelphia Eagles‘ loss to the New York Giants behind us by now. There are exceptions, and that’s completely understandable.

Some of you have relatives that, at one point and in some cases still live north of areas on the New Jersey Turnpike that you still travel on. They’re Giants fans, and you’ve probably had to hear them speak their piece on the recent events that occurred at MetLife Stadium. You get the idea though. Week 13’s game is nearer on your calendars than the final Sunday of November, and that means two things.

One, Eagles players and coaches have moved on, and maybe we should join them. Second, this next game is Philly’s second visit to MetLife Stadium in as many weeks, and the opponent is a team that the Eagles, believe it or not, have never lost to, the New York Jets.

It would be nice if 2021’s version of the Birds could keep the streak going. If not, chaos could settle in rather quickly.

You know the Jets’ signal-caller, or at least you should. He’s the second-overall selection of the most recent NFL Draft, Zach Wilson. He’s six-foot-two. He tips the scales at 214 pounds, and after missing Week 8 through Week 11 with an injury, he returned to lead the Jets to a 21-14 win over the Houston Texans.

This is Philly’s first game versus Gang Green with Wilson under center, so naturally, he’s someone to watch. Here are ten others that fall in that category as well. Hopefully, they won’t make Week 13 another nightmare for the Eagles.
