For those of us that are a little older, the argument can be made that we grew up on cartoons, Kung-fu flicks on Saturdays, and NFL Films. It was just something about the music, the camera angles, and the narration. Still, at the risk of sounding disrespectful, the Philadelphia Eagles aren’t too far behind with their media team. Rooke offensive lineman Landon Dickerson seems to have already figured that out.

Whether it’s been moments where we’ve seen the cameras capture Philly’s rookie offensive lineman showing up for work in overalls or those drops the Birds give us on social media all week (and before and after games), most of us have hit the notification bell on YouTube and added the Eagles Twitter account to just about every list we’ve created on our personal accounts.

Recently, the Birds gave us a little behind-the-scenes action of starting left tackle Jordan Mailata and the aforementioned Dickerson who put in his bid for a reality show and, dare we say, an Emmy Nomination following a performance that’s worthy of a best-supporting actor nod.

Take a look:

Call us crazy, but we’re all in on this reality show idea.

So, how can we help Landon Dickerson with this reality show idea?

Okay, so here’s the thing. Landon might have been joking, but this isn’t a bad idea. Who’d argue with having more access to this Eagles franchise and team? Who’s going to argue with Philly’s version of Hard Knocks or something close to it?

Think about it. We’ve seen an entire television network created that was dedicated to Texas Longhorns athletics. Power 5 conferences have their own networks, the Big Ten Network, SEC Network, and ACC Network for instance. We’ve even seen things take off like WWE’s Total Divas.

The Eagles have countless media outlets covering them. We’ve seen coaches’ shows. We’ve seen podcasts. We already talked about social media A reality show is all that’s missing and for our dollar, if we were to put our money where our mouths are, a rookie lineman that shows up for work in his overalls and a star tackle from Australia are exactly who we want to see starring in it.
