4 Eagles that need a change of scenery in 2022 offseason
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman
Whether you’re a fan of Howie Roseman, indifferent about what he’s done, of no opinion one way or the other, or a part of the Eagles contingent that can’t wait for the day that Jeffrey Lurie wakes up and realizes that this guy is this organization’s biggest and most glaring issues, here’s what we can say.
Even if you don’t believe that you’ll throw a party when he’s shown the door, there isn’t anyone walking, outside of his family perhaps, that will grieve or shed tears if an announcement comes down that Howie is no longer the Eagles’ G.M.
He’ll be forever remembered for crafting the roster that helped deliver Philadelphia’s first Vince Lombardi Trophy, but you can’t tell Howie’s full story without bringing up the bad draft picks, the awful extensions, or the ‘Dream Team’.
Howie has shown that he isn’t totally clueless from time to time, but as each year passes and we get further and further away from that magical night in February of 2018, it’s becoming more apparent that, if the Philadelphia Eagles are ever going to reach the mountaintop again, Howie Roseman won’t be the guy that’s going to lead them there.
Let him move on and show that he can reinvent himself somewhere else. In the meantime, all he’s doing at this point is casting a dark cloud over the Eagles franchise.
