Philadelphia Eagles Week 13 studs

Gardner Minshew, quarterback

Regardless of when Gardner Minshew knew he would start, many of us didn’t truly know what Philadelphia’s plans were until gameday. Forget the ‘it’s only the Jets’ attitude that many of us are prone to take. They’re still an NFL team, and ‘The Moustache’ proved there’s still a little magic left in Week 13.

Philly’s QB1 of the moment connected on his first 11 attempts and finished with 20 completions on 25 passing attempts. The result was 242 yards through the air, and two touchdown passes.

The entire Eagles running back rotation

Miles Sanders ran well and looked good as a receiver out of the backfield. He left the game with an injury late, but hopefully, he’ll be back after the bye week.

Kenneth Gainwell deserves some credit. He made the most of his opportunities.

Boston Scott, because of injury, didn’t play much, but he did some nice things too including NOT earning a pass-interference penalty on the rub route that the Eagles always seem to get flagged for. This time, the touchdown, Goedert’s second of the day wouldn’t be taken off of the board.
