How could we possibly leave Dallas Goedert off of the studs list? Come on! Do you see what happens when you get this guy the ball?

Milton Williams, defensive tackle

Many of you emailed us and stated that we should have placed Milton Williams on the studs list after Week 13. Each one of you was right. Sometimes, we get so statistics-obsessed that we forget to monitor the other aspects of the game.

Week 12 was a great showing for the rookie, and he was equally as impressive versus the Jets.  The splash plays will come, but this young man is becoming a very key and important part of the Birds’ defensive tackle rotation.

Honorable mention: Nate Herbig, Quez Watkins

Nate Herbig’s second start provided some great fruit. He rebounded nicely after a tough game in Week 12. Just ignore that bad snap at the end of the game. We’re trying to make a point here.

Quez Watkins deserves some kudos as well. He came up huge with two big catches on 3rd-and-long. Hats off to both of them.
