The Eagles will, no doubt, be watching what the rest of the NFC is doing.

For some of you, this feeling came later than it did for others. For some of the rest of you, there’s still some skepticism. For others still, we just aren’t going to be able to sway you into believing that there’s a realistic shot, but regardless of where your confidence level is, the facts are the facts. The Philadelphia Eagles are still alive and in the hunt for a berth in the NFC Playoffs. Who would have thunk?

After losing three straight following an opening-day win and after losing five of their first seven games, the Eagles are winners of four of their last six. That brings their regular season record to 6-7 as they sit idle in a long-awaited bye week. The Week 12 loss to the New York Giants stings. That was a game that was there for the taking, a game that, if the Birds are kept out of the playoffs, will stay on the minds of everyone all offseason.

Still, as we head down the home stretch, Philly sits ahead of bubble teams like the Carolina Panthers, the New York Giants, and the New Orleans Saints for a spot in the postseason. What follows is a ranking of four of the teams that sit ahead of them.
