Bold predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles on offense in Week 15

Will it be Jalen Hurts or Gardner Minshew at quarterback? Regardless of who takes the snaps, you have to feel good about Philadelphia’s chances in this one.

Despite injuries and notable absences, the Eagles rush for 150 yards and throw for 250 more.

At the time of this story being written and published, Jalen Hurts hasn’t been named the starting quarterback, but after being a full participant at practice on Friday and the NFL’s decision to postpone the game for two more days, there’s a high chance of him playing.

Just in case he doesn’t, here’s a scenario that we feel is realistic regardless of whether it’s him or Minshew under center.

The Washington Football Team, having been unfortunately ravaged by a recent COVID-19 outbreak, probably still won’t field many of the men who are on their list even if they get a few guys back. That means a heavy dose of the running game coupled with an energized Minshew (or a refocused Hurts looking to prove that Week 12’s performance was a fluke) will be enough to guarantee somewhere around 250 yards through the air and 150 more on the ground.

Jake Elliott connects on three field goals as Philly eclipses the 25-point threshold.

Jake Elliott has been money this season, and it’s been great to see following some rough special teams performances by this team and its kicker a season ago. We’re looking for another NFC Special Teams Player of the Week nod after he connects on four field goals.
