Revenge is sweet for the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16 versus the Giants.

Now, that’s what you call flipping the switch! The Philadelphia Eagles that emerged from the locker room to begin the second half looked vastly different than the guys that we saw running around in the first two quarters of Week 16’s game versus the New York Giants. These Birds certainly don’t make things easy on themselves, do they?

It’s actually gotten to the point where it seems to be reasonable to ask if Philadelphia has two NFL teams. The Eagles we saw in Week 12 versus these same Giants can’t be the guys that we saw dominate the third quarter of the most recent game. Heck, the team we saw in the third quarter doesn’t even resemble the team that we saw in the first (or the team we saw in the first quarter of Week 15’s game).

If you want to know why it’s so easy to get frustrated with these guys, that would be the reason. Knowing that this team can produce as they did in the second half makes even the most die-hard fan want to pull their hair out when they play like they do at their worst.

For now, revenge is sweet, and the Birds are above .500 with two games remaining. The question is this. Can they put a full game together? While you’re mulling that over, how about some Week 16 studs and duds?
