More Alabama prospects who are worth the Eagles attention

Here are a few more Alabama standouts. All of them would make for phenomenal Eagles.

Evan Neal, offensive tackle

The Eagles have a lot of offensive tackles. Jordan Mailata is on his way to future Pro Bowl nods (he should have earned one this season). Lane Johnson appears to have plenty of tread left on his tires. He’s been injury-free, and even though we all expected more from Andre Dillard, Philadelphia has a decent reserve left tackle in the former fist-rounder.

Evan Neal might be college football’s best left tackle. You have to wonder about whether the Eagles can and should acquire him. Other positions are of a more immediate need, but this guy is definitely worth keeping tabs on.

Christian Harris, linebacker

You had to know we’d say it. You know the theories that exist about whether or not the Eagles value the linebacker position enough, but Christian Harris is, without question, one of this draft class’ top five linebackers along with Devin Lloyd (Utah), Nakobe Dean (Georgia), Christian Harris (Alabama), Brandon Smith (Penn State), and Chad Muma (Wyoming).

Jordan Battle, safety

Like Harris, Jordan Battle is a top-five prospect at his position. For our money, we’d rather see the Eagles land Notre Dame’s Kyle Hamilton, but Battle is someone we can mention in comparison to Penn State’s Jaquan Brisker.

Brian Robinson Jr., running back

Oh yeah! This is someone that can solidify Philly’s running back room. Give an honorable mention to cornerback Josh Jobe. As always, we’re certain to talk about the cornerback position come draft time.
