Jalen Hurts has no reason to hang his head after another win over Washington.

The Philadelphia Eagles‘ QB1, Jalen Hurts, is starting to get the hang of this NFL thing. If you’re a quarterback at the professional level and you want to develop a reputation for winning, there’s a surefire way to help yourself. You have to be able to beat the other three teams in your division with some consistency.

Philly hasn’t been doing that recently. As a matter of fact, Hurts’ first four starts in games versus NFC East competition have all led to losses. He’s been blown out twice by the Dallas Cowboys. At no fault of his own, he was on the losing side of the season finale versus the Washington Football Team in Week 17 last year. Yep, that was the game in which Eagles leadership pulled the plug on him when he had a chance of winning.

In Week 12 of the current campaign, Jalen suffered the ugliest loss of his young career so far, an embarrassing 13-7 debacle versus the New York Giants.

Since then, he’s righted the ship. The Eagles have beaten the Washington Football Team twice in 13 days. Those games sandwiched a victory over the G-Men, a game in which Hurts avenged himself. Now the attention shifts to Week 18 and the regular-season finale versus Dallas.

We’ll, no doubt, be breaking that down all week, but before we begin, let’s take one last look at what Jalen Hurts did in Week 17. Here are some final grades for his performance in our nation’s capital.
