Great decisions down the stretch helped turn the Philadelphia Eagles tide.

It’s official: the Philadelphia Eagles ticket to the dance has been punched. We’ve gone from agonizing over a 4-11-1 record a season ago to seeing this team clinch a playoff berth with a game still needing to be played.

Saturday’s game doubles as the regular-season finale and will likely be the last time they’re seen playing at Lincoln Financial Field this season as, during the National Football Conference’s Wild Card Round, they’ll travel as the visiting team.

It took all 53-men along with the coaching staff and every individual in the building to get them here. Head coach Nick Sirianni did a phenomenal job keeping this group together despite beginning the season with a 2-5 win-loss total.

There are a lot of moments that come to mind that helped spur the Eagles’ turnaround but there are two big ones that should be highlighted. That’s not to say these two are the most important but it’s fair to say the Birds might not be where they are right now without these decisions being made.
